Questions
What happens when I use up the free AI allowance?
Everything you've saved stays, and you can keep adding to it by hand: notes, checklists, edits, ratings and reminders. Pro adds more AI every month.
Does the Pro allowance roll over?
No. Pro's AI allowance is for the calendar month and starts fresh on the 1st, in your time zone. What you don't use doesn't carry over.
How do I cancel?
In Recalo, open Settings and tap Manage subscription, then cancel. Cancelling stops the next charge. You keep Pro until the period you paid for ends.
Is it the same price everywhere?
No. The App Store sets prices for each country, so yours may differ. This page shows US prices.
Do I lose my saves if I stop paying?
No. Everything you've saved stays yours to read, search and edit on the free plan.
What the AI is for
AI reads a reel, a link or a photo and turns it into a proper recipe, place or book. It's the only part that costs us money, so it's the only part Pro pays for.
